Management:
We
have a team approach to management and our Managers are mature adults who promote pride and professionalism
in keeping our facility in top condition while offering prompt, friendly
service. Our managers maintain an attractive and professional
appearance that matches the quality of our fine facility. Together, our
management team has over 22 years experience in making your stay at The Colonial House memorable and meaningful.
Computer Lab: Computer lab with
Broadband Internet Connection (in addition to
our Internet service in each apartment, using a different
provider).
Exercise Room: 1 elliptical machines, 2
treadmills and free weights.
Unique
Construction:

Crown Molding: Every room is decorated with crown
molding and each bedroom has custom crown molding
shelves.

Walls: Every apartment
was built with thicker 5/8 inch fire rated "Type X" sheetrock with 1 or
2 layers (most are 2 layers) on every interior wall, creating 1 or 2
hour fire rated walls that exceed most Uniform Building Code (UBC)
standards.

Floors /
Ceilings: Floors are capped
with concrete, which combined with ceilings that are covered with 2 sheets of
5/8 inch "Type X"
sheetrock, provide for greater than 2 hour fire walls.
The
Quietest Facility:
The same materials that create highly rated fire walls,
floors and ceilings also create an
acoustic barrier that
provid es the quietest rooms and apartments available
anywhere on campus. You will
not hear neighbors run water or flush toilets.
Extensive
Lighting:
The Colonial House has 6 foot
pillar lighting with white wrought iron surrounding the entire complex.
Each
apartment has a porch light outside the front door (with peep hole and
dead bolt lock), and the
parking lot is lit with overhead lighting
to increase safety for those coming home at
night.
Office
Hours
:
Our office hours are from 10:00 am
to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday.
However, we feel it's essential that
our managers are available to our young ladies during off
hours.
Maintenance:
We have a maintenance system that is
prompt and professional
and prioritizes the importance of the item and the
student's needs.
Beautiful
Grounds
: The
grounds have been professionally landscaped and are professionally cared
for. You will not find a
lovelier lawn or shrubs in student housing.
The Colonial
House is a beautiful facility that we as owners and managers are very
proud of.
